The winners of the Tchaikovsky Competition will perform in the Republic of Mauritius
The concert is dedicated to the 80th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War.
On 10 October, the concert Brilliance of Russian Classics will take place in Port Louis. Young Russian musicians will perform on the stage of the Caudan Arts Centre: Polina Shabunina (soprano), soloist of the Bolshoi Opera Company and laureate of the XVII International Tchaikovsky Competition (4th prize); Maxim Lisiin (baritone), laureate of the XVII International Tchaikovsky Competition (2nd prize); Ivan Sendetsky (cello), laureate of the International Tchaikovsky Competition (4th prize in 2023 and Special prize in 2019); and Sergey Davydchenko (piano), winner of the 1st prize and gold medal at the XVII International Tchaikovsky Competition (2023).
The concert program will feature famous chamber works by Russian composers.
The project is implemented with the support by the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation and the Federal State Budgetary Cultural Institution ROSCONCERT.
